INFERGEN is indicated for the treatment of chronic HCV infection in patients 18 years of age or older with compensated liver disease who have anti-HCV serum antibodies and/or the presence of HCV RNA.1

Hepatitis C patients who may be good candidates for continuation INFERGEN therapy include:
Use the HCV Therapy Flow Sheet to manage your INFERGEN patients more efficiently and track their results.
  • Patients who did not achieve ≥ 2-log10 drop in viral load at 12 weeks of initial therapy.2
  • Patients at stage 0, 1, or 2 disease, when chance of SVR is greater than stage 3 or 4.3
  • Patients who are HCV-positive at 12, 24, 48, or 72 weeks and beyond.4
  • Treatment-refractory patients who showed some virologic response during prior treatment.4
  • Patients who are able to tolerate and adhere to interferon treatment.
  • Patients who are motivated to start re-treatment with the goal of SVR.
